"We have been using this agent for 34 yrs. All of our communication has been mainly with his assistants, Consetta and Patty. The ladies are wonderful and always helpful. Louis himself is not. We’ve had two homeowners claims, the first one being an active leak in the wall from busted plumbing (caused everything to get wet and cabinets had to be pulled out, etc), and the most recent was a tree falling on our house from a storm. The first time wth the leak, Louis told us not to make a claim because he was sure State Farm would not cover it. We ignored him and filed a claim anyway. State Farm did indeed cover it, ending up with a major kitchen, floors, and walls repair project. Moving on to the tree falling on our house this week... we called to file a claim. Louis came out for approx 3.5 minutes to take a couple of pictures and said the adjuster should be calling us. We needed this monstrosity of a tree off of our house and tarps to cover the holes; and it was raining! On top of that, the breaker box and electrical wires were compromised and we needed it checked. Louis told us to go ahead and have things done that needed it now, and just keep our receipts. We’re talking $6100 for the tree guys and we don’t know what the electrician is going to charge yet for inspection. Normally in an emergency, a good insurance agent would give you a check to get started. Not Louis. We had to pay out of our pocket. Needless to say, he obviously does not value us enough as customers of years. He’s had all of our cars insured, RV, and house. Needless to say, we are looking for a new State Farm agent. The only good thing about him is his office ladies!"
